Frequently Asked Questions

Can my children come to swim?
Children cannot accompany parents. For coaching and training purposes, children under the age of 18 must be registered with one of our affiliated sports clubs. For a list of the clubs, please click here.

What are your timings?
We are open from 8 am to 10 pm from Sundays to Thursdays. Fridays, we’re open from 3 pm to 10 pm. On Saturday, we’re open from 7 am to 10 pm. For announcements, please follow us on our social media pages and please refer to the swimming schedule here

What do I need to do to swim at Hamdan?
The first time you come in, please pay the 25 AED entry fee and sign this waiver form for a full day’s access. For any subsequent visits, you must bring a medical form that’s filled out. The medical form can be collected on site or downloaded here.

Is there a separate day or timing for men and women?
The pool, gym and sauna facilities are at all times available for both men and women simultaneously.

Other facilities are open to the public?
Visitors can access the gym, sauna and jacuzzi.

What other facilities are available?
In preparation for events, the swimming pools are often covered as sport courts are constructed. They are not, however, accessible to the public.

Do you sell or lend towels, shampoos etc.?
We do not. Therefore, visitors are kindly advised to bring with them all necessary toiletries to be stored in designated lockers here. We provide our guests access to the shower rooms and changing cubicles as well.

What is the temperature of the pool?
It is generally maintained at around 28°C.

Are there restaurants at the complex?
No. We do, however, have vending machines that offer drinks, water and snacks.

Can I pay with credit card?
We accept cash only.

If I want to use both the swimming pool and the gym, for one day only, how much do I pay?
You get a full day’s access to the pool for 25 AED, and 35 AED for the gym. To use both for a day, you will need to pay a total of 60 AED. The monthly membership rate for all-inclusive pool and gym usage is 400 AED.

Are the swimming pools indoors?
Yes, our swimming and diving pools are indoors.

Are there swimming classes for adults?
No.

What documents do I need to provide or send in order to rent a pool lane?
We accept lane-rental bookings from established organizations only. We will need the following four documents:

  • Trade License,
  • Third Party Liability Insurance
  • Coaches certificates and
  • Terms and Conditions/Liability Waiver form signed (click here to download it).

As a public swimmer, can I book a lane?
No. Our swimming pools are shared facilities, and public swimmers cannot request for private lanes.
During off-peak hours, the swimming pools are usually divided into slow, medium and fast lanes, to cater to both amateurs and professionals.

I'm coming to Dubai for a visit from abroad, do I still need a medical report in order to swim?
No; in this case, your tourist visa and passport would suffice.

The clinic I went to wouldn’t fill out the swimming pool medical report form, what should I do?
We accept it filled with the clinic’s own letterhead, logo, stamp and doctor’s signature as long as it has the same information/content as ours. Most clinics are willing to do that. Also, the medical report form can be filled out by any hospital.

Do I need to bring in the medical form on my first visit?
You can but you don’t need to. You are required to bring it filled on your second visit to the complex.
